Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using the free tools that Arteon provides at arteontools.com. By using the tools, you accept these rules. If you do not agree with them, do not use the tools.

We provide free tools that run in your browser. You will find the current list on the home page. Your files and texts stay on your device and are not sent to our server.

All you need is a device with an up-to-date browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, with JavaScript enabled. You do not install anything. If a tool needs a larger screen, its page tells you so. Some websites impersonate well-known services, so open the tools at arteontools.com. The privacy policy describes cookies and the data stored in your browser.

The tools do not require registration, logging in or payment. You open the page and use them straight away. We do not keep user accounts, so there is nothing to create or delete. The agreement to use the tools is concluded when you open a tool page. It ends by itself when you close the page, so you do not need to terminate it.

You must not send us unlawful content. This applies mainly to messages sent through the contact form, because files and texts from the tools never reach us.

The rights to the tools, their code and the look of the website belong to Arteon. The exceptions are open source libraries and fonts, which we use under their own licenses. You will find the list at arteontools.com/licenses.txt and under the Licenses link in the footer. The files and texts you add and the results the tools return belong to you. You may use them for any purpose, including commercial use, and you do not need to credit us.

We provide the tools as they are. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that they will always return a result that meets your expectations. Before you use a result somewhere important, for example in a design going to print, check it yourself.

We are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the tools, including data loss or interruptions to your work. This limitation does not cover damage caused intentionally or cases in which the law does not allow liability to be excluded. If you are a consumer, your rights under consumer protection law remain unaffected.

We display Google AdSense ads on the tool pages because they cover the cost of running and developing the tools. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we show interest-based ads only after you consent in the Google Privacy & Messaging window. How this works in other regions is explained in the Privacy Policy. The tools work the same without consent.

What data we collect and why is described in the privacy policy for the tools. You will find it at arteontools.com/privacy-policy and in the footer of every page.

If a tool does not work as it should, write to kontakt@arteonagency.pl. Include the address of the tool page and describe what happened. We will reply within 14 days to the address the message came from.

We may change these terms, for example when we add a tool that works differently from the existing ones. The current version is always on this page, with its date shown above the text. Continuing to use the tools after a change means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another European Union country, this clause does not deprive you of the protection given by the mandatory provisions of your country’s law.
